Bursaries are available to students who have financial need.
New domestic students must be CMU admitted applicants to apply for bursaries. Returning students must be registered for classes when applying for bursaries. Bursaries are available to students who are full-time (nine credit hours or more per semester) or completing their music therapy internship in the upcoming academic year. Current students must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Funds are distributed in time for the beginning of the semester.
- Domestic Students (Canadian residents and protected persons in Canada) must apply for provincial student aid and submit the relevant assessment and award information along with the bursary application.
- International students are eligible to apply for bursaries once they have begun studies at CMU. They will complete budget information within the online application.
Applications for the fall and winter semesters will be available on this page in mid-April and are due May 31 (international students) or July 20 (domestic students). Applications for the winter semester will be available mid-October and are due November 10.
