Pay attention to your email for regular updates of what you need to know as you prepare to study at CMU, and make sure you save the date for the parts of orientation that apply to you. Check back for updates through the summer!
Welcome Week: September 2–6
Monday, September 2
- Residence Move In: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- New Undergrad Student Orientation: 1:00–5:00 PM
- Register on your application portal!
- Commuter Students: Arrive between 12:45–1:00 PM to sign in
- Parent/Guardian Orientation: 1:00–3:00 PM
Tuesday, September 3
- Opening Convocation
- First Year Advising Sessions
- Grad Student Orientation
- Community BBQ
- Welcome Fair
- Learn about the different student groups and associations and how to get involved!
- 6:15–8:00 PM – Student Council Coffee House
Wednesday, September 4
- First day of classes
