Maintenance Technician/Grounds

Full-Time, Permanent, 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)

As the Maintenance Technician, you support the Physical Plant Manager in maintaining the campus grounds. In this position, you are responsible for maintenance, snow clearing, grass mowing, and the applicable safety and health procedures. Working closely with the Physical Plant and Hosting departments, you coordinate campus grounds technical resources and activities.

This position works in a fast-paced dynamic environment that encompasses indoor and outdoor physical activity, working in hot and cold environments, The Maintenance Technician/Grounds is required to perform tasks that involve moving, bending, walking, standing, and lifting heavy objects of up to 100lbs. This position works with various equipment and chemicals and must follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. This position will experience frequent interruptions, requiring flexibility, shifting priorities, and the occasional need to respond to issues outside of normal office hours.
