The Social Services are professions that require competency is a variety of subject areas including psychology, sociology, conflict transformation and social justice. Social Service professions also require a portfolio of inter- and intrapersonal skills including cultural sensitivity, outstanding communication, strong relationship skills, excellent planning and organization, resilience and the capacity for self-care.
