Culture embeds itself in an enormous variety of places—our histories, our narratives of those histories, our social constructs, our modes of worship, our manners of communicating, conducting conflict, healing and making peace. Therefore, in order to make a thorough and well-rounded study of the role of cultures in societies, we must examine culture in as many contexts and from as many vantage points as possible.
