Musical Theatre

Pop Vocals - not running in 2022-23

Learn to sing contemporary pop/rock music using healthy vocal technique while having fun! Students will learn the skills required to: sing lead vocals, sing harmonies and backup vocals, support their sound with proper breathing, perform with confidence and care for their voice. There will be two performances for each class: December & May as able with COVID restrictions.

Grades 7-9 will have longer solo sections, more complex harmonies, mic technique and learn more scale patterns.
No previous training is required.
Class maximum: 4 students

Vocal Fusion

Vocal Discovery

In this class the singers will:

  • discover their own voice and practice the basics of good singing
  • learn vocal warm-ups and breathing exercises to support a range of musical styles
  • sing individually and together with peers
  • sing music suited to each voice and build a repertoire of songs individually and together
  • meet other singers who also love to sing
  • build self-confidence and a growing love of singing!

Class size is limited so register early!
