Jennifer enjoys organizing things and connecting people with the resources they are looking for. As a result, academic libraries have been enjoyable workplaces for her as a Library Technician. Her education includes a Diploma in Biblical Studies from Steinbach Bible College, Library Technician Diploma from Red River Community College, and a BA (with a major in Sociology) from the University of Manitoba. She joined the library staff at CMU in August 2000.

Jennifer attends the Fort Garry Evangelical Mennonite Church where she teaches an introduction to the English language and the Bible Sunday School class.

She never gets enough time to read because she also enjoys landscaping, gardening, watercolor painting, travelling, and spending time with family and friends. Her volunteering highlights include spending a summer at Jubilee Partners in Georgia, USA and participation in the first Women's Build with Habitat for Humanity in Saskatoon.

An interesting project for her was writing a book with her father about her grandfather: Memories of Peter L. Kroeker's Cars written by Jennifer Kroeker and Ed Kroeker; illustrated by Ron Kroeker. Winnipeg, 2010.
