Director of Estamos, Practicum Coordinator
Tim has been in the role of Director of Estamos, CMU's new intercultural study abroad program, since February 2022. He balances this with his responsibilities as a Practicum Coordinator.
While relatively new to each of these positions, Tim brings a wealth of experience, having spent five years working in various roles, including program co-director, with CMU's former Outtatown program. He also has experience teaching the Practicum seminar and as an Academic Advisor.
The opportunity to bring life to the new Estamos program, working closely with program partners in Guatemala while providing leadership and support to students as they take their university studies abroad, has been a privilege and gift for Tim. Estamos brings together Tim's passion for intercultural experiences, immersive learning, and personal and vocational growth.
Tim holds an M.A. in Theological Studies from CMU. He also earned a B.A. in Religious Studies from Tyndale University, Toronto.
In his spare time he enjoys following the Toronto Raptors and Michigan St. basketball. He also enjoys cycling, hiking, canoeing/kayaking, teaching his dog new tricks, and growing veggies.
