Michelle has been an acredited/certified and practicing music therapist since 2007 and specializes in working in pediatrics.  She has specialized training in both Neurologic Music Therapy and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Music Therapy.  

Her research/consultation work includes: supporting non-music therapist's efficacy of using music to aid in child development, support classroom music teachers in an inclusive setting and creating Melodies & ABC's early childhood music program.  

Michelle successfully runs Prelude Music, a music therapy and music education business in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she maintains her clinical skills with a team of music therapists and educators.
