Reporting to the President, the VPA holds primary responsibility for academic program design and strategy, academic program development, academic budgets, faculty hiring, academic program evaluation and renewal, academic program accreditation, research strategy, and inter-institutional academic relationships.

Director of Advancement

As the Director of Advancement, you oversee and implement a comprehensive advancement strategy that supports the mission of CMU. In this role, you serve as a knowledgeable and passionate advocate for the university, representing CMU at public constituency and community gatherings and provide guidance on development matters for senior administration, faculty, and staff. Practicum Coordinator and Education Facilitator

The Practicum Coordinator and Education Facilitator supports the Chair(s) of Education in the planning, coordination, and evaluation of practicum experiences for teacher candidates. This position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with school divisions, schools, administrators, and Mentor Teachers, supporting students throughout the placement matching process. Serving as a faculty liaison by teaching practicum seminars, this role builds and supports cohorts of teacher candidates and provides training for Mentor Teachers.

Head Coach Cross-Country Running

Blazers Athletics is seeking a Head Coach for a new Varsity Cross-Country Running program at Canadian Mennonite University (CMU). Training and athlete recruitment will begin in January 2026, with the program entering competition in Fall 2026.
As the Head Coach, you are responsible for leading all aspects of program development, including training design, athlete recruitment, and team selection. In this role, you cultivate team unity and culture, coordinate with league and media representatives, assist with fundraising initiatives, and represent the team positively at meets and within the broader running community.
